This variety does not make a good red wine but makes a very nice rose. You will see flavors of strawberry and raspberry along with a hint of pepper. $14.99 Pigoudet Aix en Provence Rose - Welcome to Provence. The grapes for this one are Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet and Syrah. The wine is vibrant and fruit forward. Peach and raspberry are prevalent and the palette is refreshed with a vibrant acidity. $ 13.99 Ch Grande Cassagne Costieres de Nimes Rose - Grande Cassagne is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and mourvedre. Bright red fruits blend with the light herbal notes making this a nice medium bodied rose. $ 10.99 Domaine Bellevue Touraine Rose - Touraine is an area in the Loire Valley. The rose wines are normally Cabernet Franc with several others thrown in. Nice red fruits combine with a slightly heavier body and you have a great rose for the summer. $ 10.99 Domain Drouhin Laurence Pinot Noir Dundee Hills - This is the flagship wine from Domaine Drouhin Oregon. The wine is made exclusively from estate grown Pinot Noir. Laurene is always talked about as one of the best Pinots in America. you should try it now as the wine is now allocated and all the 2009 is already sold out. $ 69.99 Casanova di Neri Rosso di Casanova di Neri - Casanova di Neri is famous for their Brunellos. In 2006 they made the #1 wine in the world according to Wine Spectator. While htis wine is not technically a Brunello it is made from the same grape and region. Red fruit with violet accents. The wine is bright and fresh with medium weight tannins. $ 24.99 Girard Artistry - Girard is coming up on its 40th anniversary. This winery has several varietal offerings as well as the Artistry blend. The fruit is sourced from some of the best known and respected vineyards in Napa. The wine is medium bodied with nice red fruit, chocolate and tobacco. The oak is soft and balanced. Girard continues to make some of the most consistent offerings from Napa. $ 44.99 Hanzell Pinot Noir - Lovely red fruit aromas of pomegranate and cherry are enhanced by scents of rose petal, cardamom and clove. With time, the wine unfolds to reveal orange peel, pipe tobacco and a distinct earthiness reminiscent of a woodsy forest floor. Flavors of blackberry, pomegranate, tangerine and clean mineral are concentrated, yet lively and buoyant across the palate. Fine tannins and balanced acidity sustain the persistent fruit through a long finish. The clarity and concentration of flavor combined with the inherent structure will ensure many years of enjoyment and richly reward those with the patience to cellar. Spicy oak notes harmonize with the medium body. $ 23.99 Olivier Leflaive Les Setilles White Bourgogne - Bourgogne Blanc "les Sétilles" comes from a blend of vineyards in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet (70%) and Meursault (30%) Rich, round and creamy, this delicious wine showcases a floral nose with zesty hints of lemon-lime. On the palate you’ll find crisp acidity and nice minerality.
